BIG DROP: Earrings made of corrugated cardboard

These BIG DROP earrings are really huge! Though they are light, because I made them from corrugated cardboard. They are quilled, glued and painted with a colored varnish, mounted on ear hoks (925 sterling silver) with a waxed cotton thread. Due to the varnish they are sturdy and splashproof, but don´t submerge into water!

Diameter on the thickest part: 3 cm. Length of the drop: 4,8 cm.
Total length of the earring: 6,5 cm (2 1/2").
