Statement Earrings - Dangles - made of book pages

These statement earrings consist of little disks, cut out of book pages. Please note the old german letters! Fascinating is the visual change with the movement. Depending on the angle you can see through the gaps caused by black beads, it seems voluminous or fragile.
The disks are cut from german books and sprayed with protective lacquer. The earwire is from 925 sterling silver.

The disks have a diameter of 2.2 cm (7/8 ").
